Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Vibe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
    IMPORTANT: Do not swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock, "XM Theftlock" will be displayed.
  1. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper in Interior Trim.
  2. Fig 1: Receiver And Nuts

  3. Remove the 3 nuts (1, 2, 3) securing the receiver.

  5. Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors (1, 2).

  7. Remove the XM receiver.
  8. Remove the 2 nuts (1, 2) securing the bracket to the receiver, remove the bracket if necessary.
