Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Fig 1: VSS Electrical Connector

  3. Disconnect the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) electrical connector (1).
  4. Remove the 1 retaining bolt and the VSS from the transaxle.
  5. Inspect the VSS O-ring for cuts or damage. Replace as necessary.
