Installation Procedure

- Install the upper instrument panel assembly (1) to the vehicle. Ensure that the retaining clips (2) are fully engaged. Secure the assembly to the lower instrument panel with the 3 screws (3).
- Connect any necessary connectors.
- Install the left I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory Left .
- Install the windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar .
- Install the I/P cluster assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement .
- Install the I/P cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster .
- Install the passenger side inflatable restraint. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel Module Replacement .
- Install the wiper switch assembly. Refer to Wipers/Washer Switch Replacement .
- Install the head lamp switch assembly. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement .
- Install the upper and lower steering column covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
- Install the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement .
- Install the steering wheel inflatable restraint. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement .
- Install the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console .
- Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
- Install the I/P center trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center .
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 and SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 .
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
