Enabling Zone 6

  1. Install the side impact sensor electrical connector.
  2. Install the front seat belt retractor. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Right Front in Seat Belts.
  3. Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar in Interior Trim.
  4. Install the rear door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Install the front door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.

  7. Install the AM2 Fuse into the junction block (1).
  8. Use caution while reaching in and turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  9. The AIR BAG indicator will flash then turn OFF.
  10. Perform the SIR Diagnostic System Check if the AIR BAG warning indicator does not operate as described. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - SIR .
