Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable (3) from the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Disconnect the positive (+) battery cable (1) from the positive (+) battery terminal.
  3. Remove the bolt (4) and the battery hold down bracket (2).
  4. Remove the battery (5) from the vehicle.
