Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Vibe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the sidemarker bulb to the composite headlamp, if removed.
  2. Connect the sidemarker bulb electrical connector.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Secure the composite headlamp to the vehicle with the 3 bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the headlamp mounting bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the front fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper .

  5. Install the headlamp bulb (2) to the composite headlamp (3), if removed.
  6. Fasten the headlamp bulb retainer clip (2).
  7. Install the socket to the headlamp bulb.
  8. Install the rubber cover to the composite headlamp.
  9. Aim the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Aiming .
  10. Close the hood.
