Installation Procedure

  1. Lightly coat the O-ring with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the service port valve.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the valve to 11 N.m (98 lb in).

  3. Evacuate and charge the system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  4. Leak test the A/C service port. Refer to Leak Testing .
  5. Install the service port cap.
