Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the heater inlet adapter pipe.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the heater outlet adapter pipe mounting bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  3. Connect the inlet hose (3) to the inlet pipe.
  4. Use J 38185  in order to position the heater hose inlet clamp.
  5. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY .
  6. Refill the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM .
