Installation Procedure

  1. Install the exhaust crossover pipe seal to the exhaust crossover pipe at the right exhaust manifold connection.
  2. Install the exhaust crossover pipe.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the exhaust crossover pipe bolts and studs.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the exhaust crossover pipe bolts and studs to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  4. Install the exhaust crossover heat shield.
  5. Install the exhaust crossover heat shield nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the exhaust crossover heat shield nuts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  6. Install the throttle body air intake duct. Refer to AIR CLEANER INTAKE DUCT .
  7. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT (L36) or FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT (L67) .
