Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  2. Remove the transfer case shield mounting bolts from the transmission support (3500 series shown).
  3. Remove the transfer case shield from transmission support.
