Installation Procedure

Install the lift gate striker (2) to the vehicle.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Secure the striker with the 2 bolts (2).
Tighten
Tighten the rear compartment lid lock striker bolts to 11.5 N.m (9 lb ft).
Install the lift gate sill trim plate. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE in Interior Trim.
