Removal Procedure

  1. Open the liftgate.

  2. Remove the lift gate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE  .
  3. Remove the lift gate handle (1). Refer to HANDLE REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE  .
  4. Remove the lift gate lock cylinder (2). Refer to LOCK CYLINDER REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE  .
  5. Remove the lift gate applique nut (4).
  6. Remove the lift gate applique (3).
