Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lift gate applique (3) to the lift gate.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the lift gate applique nut (4).

    Tighten 

  3. Tighten the lift gate applique nut to 4.0 N.m (35 lb in).
  4. Install the lift gate lock cylinder (2). Refer to LOCK CYLINDER REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE  .
  5. Install the lift gate handle (1). Refer to HANDLE REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE  .
  6. Install the lift gate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE  .
  7. Close lift gate.
