Removal Procedure

  1. Remove liftgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE  .
  2. Open the liftgate.
  3. Disconnect cable from handle.
  4. Remove the 2 nuts (1) from the liftgate handle (2).
  5. Remove the liftgate handle (2) from the liftgate applique studs (3).
