Installation Procedure

  1. Install the liftgate handle (2) to the liftgate applique studs (3).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the 2 nuts (1) to the liftgate handle (2).

    Tighten 

  3. Tighten the liftgate handle nuts to 4.0 N.m (35 lb in).
  4. Connect the cable to liftgate handle.
  5. Install liftgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE  .
  6. Close the liftgate.
