Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the lift gate sill trim panel. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE  .
  2. Remove the rear body side lower garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE LOWER REAR  on .
  3. Remove the rear tool storage compartment tray. Refer to TOOL STORAGE COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT  .
  4. Remove the rear storage compartment. Refer to STORAGE COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - REAR   .
  5. Remove the 4 bolts (3) and the 4 tie down hooks (1) from the trim panel (4).
  6. Disengage the 4 plastic retainers (2) which secure the quarter lower trim panel (4).
  7. Remove the quarter lower trim panel (4) from the vehicle.
