Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear body side lower garnish molding (1) to the vehicle. Ensure that the plastic retainers are fully seated.
  2. Install the rear seat hinge (3) to the rear body side lower garnish molding (1).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the bolt (2) to the rear seat hinge (3).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the rear seat hinge bolt to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  4. Install the rear seat assembly. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR in Seats.
