Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Vibe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the rear seat back cushion pad (5) to the frame (4), if removed.
  2. Install the rear seat back latch (8), if removed. Refer to SEAT BACK RELEASE LATCH REPLACEMENT - REAR  in Seats.
  3. Install the rear seat back cushion cover (6) to the seat back cushion (5).
  4. Install the seat latch retainer (10) and knob (11).

  5. Use hog ring pliers (1) to install new hog rings. Ensure that the rear seat back cushion cover is secured to the cushion (2).
  6. Install the plastic retainers which secure the seat back cushion cover to the back of the seat.

  7. Install the rear seat back cushion. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - REAR SPLIT FOLDING  .
  8. Install the rear seat head restraint (1). Refer to HEAD RESTRAINT REPLACEMENT - REAR SEAT  .
