Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to MIRROR REPLACEMENT - POWER  .
  2. Completely lower the window.
  3. Position aside the front door weatherstrip to gain access to the outer sealing strip plastic retainer.
  4. Remove the outer sealing strip plastic retainer (1).

  5. Gently pry the outer sealing strip (1) from the door using a taped flat bladed tool.
