Removal Procedure

NOTE:
When removing body panels, apply tape to corners of panel and adjacent surfaces to help prevent paint damage.
- Raise and support the hood.
- Remove the right fender flare. Refer to FLARE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FENDER in Exterior Trim.
- Remove the right wheelhouse panel (1). Refer to WHEELHOUSE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER in Bumpers.
- Remove the right rocker molding. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT - ROCKER PANEL in Exterior Trim.
- Remove the right head lamp assembly. Refer to HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY OR HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT in Lighting Systems.
- Remove hood assist rod. Refer to HOOD HOLD-OPEN ROD REPLACEMENT .
- Remove right rear inner fender splash guard.
- Remove the right front fender (1) to rocker panel bolt.
- Remove the 2 right front fender to door jamb (3) bolts.
- Remove the top 2 right front fender bolts (1).
- Remove the 1 bolt (2) from the front of the right front fender.
- Remove the right front fender (1) from the vehicle.
