Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  1. Install the 2 rear bumper stays (4) and the push-in retainers (3) to the impact bar (1), if removed.

    Install the rear bumper impact bar (1) to the vehicle. Secure the impact bar with 4 nuts (2).

    Tighten 

  2. Tighten the rear bumper impact bar nuts to 36 N.m (26 lb ft).
  3. Install the rear bumper fascia energy absorber. Refer to ENERGY ABSORBER REPLACEMENT - REAR   .
  4. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT - REAR BUMPER  .
