Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Vibe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Important:  The ignition switch must be in the OFF position when removing the instrument cluster assembly.

  1. Remove the IP cluster trim plate. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER  .
  2. Remove the screw (1) which secures the instrument cluster assembly (2).
  3. Disengage the 2 lower clips (3).
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cluster assembly (2).
  5. Remove the cluster assembly (2) from the instrument panel assembly.
