Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Vibe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove antenna mast. Refer to FIXED ANTENNA MAST REPLACEMENT  in Entertainment.
  2. Remove the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the 4 retainers (4) which secure the antenna cable (3) to the roof (5).

  4. Disconnect the rear antenna extension cable. Refer to ANTENNA EXTENSION CABLE REPLACEMENT  in Entertainment.
  5. Remove the nut (4) which secures the antenna cable base (1) to the roof of the vehicle.

  6. Release the 2 tabs (2) from the antenna cable base (1).
  7. Remove the antenna base cable assembly (1) from the vehicle.
