Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Vibe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the windshield wiper motor. Refer to WIPER MOTOR REPLACEMENT  .
  2. Using a flat bladed tool, disengage the meshing of the inner rod (1) from the crank arm pivot (2).
  3. Remove the wiper transmission (1) from the wiper motor (3).

  4. Using a flat bladed tool, disengage the meshing of the outer rod (1) from the crank arm pivot (3).

  5. Remove the 2 torx bolts (2).
