Removal & Installation

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove IPC trim plate. Tilt steering column to full down position. Remove 2 screws retaining IPC to instrument panel. Pull IPC away from instrument panel. Disconnect IPC electrical connector. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten IPC screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
