Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) electrical connector (1).
  3. Remove the 1 retaining bolt and the VSS from the transaxle.
  4. Inspect the VSS O-ring for cuts or damage. Replace as necessary.
