Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Vibe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the oil level indicator from the guide tube.
  2. Unclip the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector from the guide tube.
  3. Remove the following components from the cylinder block:
    • The bolts
    • The guide tube (3)
  4. Remove the guide tube seal (1) from the guide tube.
