Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  1. Install the drive belt tensioner.

    Tighten 

    • Tighten the lower tensioner bolt (6) to 69 N.m (51 lb ft).
    • Tighten the upper tensioner nut to 29 N.m (21 lb ft).
  2. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT  .
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
