Exhaust Manifold Installation

Install the exhaust manifold and new gasket.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Install the 3 exhaust manifold bolts (1-3) and 2 exhaust manifold nuts (4-5).
Tighten

Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts and bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

Install the lower heat insulator.
Tighten

Tighten the lower heat insulator bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Install the 5 upper heat insulator bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the upper heat insulator bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Install the exhaust manifold bracket to the manifold bolt.
Tighten

Tighten the exhaust manifold bracket bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
