Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  1. Install the wheel speed sensor (2) to steering knuckle.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the rear wheel speed sensor bolt (1) to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  2. Install the bolt (1) and nut (2) which retains the wheel speed sensor harness to the upper arm and suspension member.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt and nut to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  3. Install the bolt (2) which retains the wheel speed sensor harness (1) to the vehicle.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt and nut to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  4. Reposition the wheel speed pigtail harness through the body. Install the grommet.
  5. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (1).

  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Install the rear seat bottom and seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - REAR SPLIT FOLDING in Seats.
  8. Install the fuel tank filler pipe protector (1). Secure with 3 bolts (2).

  9. Perform Diagnostic System Check - ABS .
