Removal Procedure

Remove the steering knuckle. Refer to STEERING KNUCKLE REPLACEMENT .
Use snap ring pliers in order to remove the wheel bearing retainer (1).

Place a bearing driver collar on the inside end of the hub (6).
Use a press in order to remove the hub from the wheel bearing (11).
Press from the inside end of the hub toward the outside of the hub.
Remove the 3 bolts (4,5,7) and the brake shield (3) from the knuckle.
Use a press and a split plate in order to remove the bearing outside inner race from the hub.
Place a bearing driver collar on the bearing outside outer race.
Use a press in order to remove the bearing from the knuckle.
Press from the outside of the knuckle toward the inside of the knuckle.
