Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper instrument panel (IP) assembly. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the lower air distribution duct. Refer to AIR DISTRIBUTION DUCT REPLACEMENT  .
  3. Remove the three defroster duct tabs (1) from the brackets.
  4. Remove the defroster duct (2) from the HVAC module.
