Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trim plate (3) from the instrument panel (IP).
  2. Remove the 2 screws (1) and the deflector (2) from the trim plate.

  3. Remove the upper instrument panel (IP) assembly. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  4. Remove the 4 screws (1) from the air outlet duct (2).
  5. Remove the air outlet duct.
  6. Remove the 2 screws (3) from the air deflector assembly (4).
  7. Remove the air deflector assembly (4) from the upper IP (5).
