Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Important:

Use new O-rings lubricated with 525 viscosity mineral oil.
Hold the A/C refrigerant pressure switch mount with an open end wrench to avoid bending the liquid line.

Install the A/C refrigerant pressure switch (2).
Tighten

Tighten the A/C refrigerant pressure switch (2) to 10 N.m (7.0 lb ft).
Connect the A/C refrigerant pressure switch electrical connector (1).
Evacuate and recharge the refrigerant system. Refer to REFRIGERANT RECOVERY AND RECHARGING .
Operate the A/C system and check for leaks. Refer to LEAK TESTING .
