Camshaft Bearing Removal

Tools Required 

J 33049  Camshaft Bearing Remover/Installer Set

  1. Remove the camshaft

    Important:  Do not attempt to reuse old camshaft bearings.

  2. Remove the camshaft bearings.
    1. 2.1. Choose the proper pilot.
    2. 2.2. Choose the proper nut.
    3. 2.3. Choose the proper thrust washer.
    4. 2.4. Assemble J 33049  . Make sure that the puller nut is attached securely to the puller threads.
    5. 2.5. Pull out the camshaft bearings.
