Removal (HO2S 2, Banks 1 & 2 - 3.0L)

Bank 1 are cylinders No. 1, 3 and 5 which are closest to the front of the dash. Turn OFF the ignition. One HO2S 2 is located behind each mini-catalytic converter. Disconnect the HO2S 2 harness connector. Use a liquid penetrate before removing the sensor. Raise and support vehicle. Using Heated Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J39194C), remove the HO2S 2 from the exhaust.
