Removal Procedure

  1. Open the rear compartment.
  2. Disconnect the rear compartment lock cylinder electrical connector.
  3. Drill out the rivet from the rear compartment lock cylinder retainer.
  4. Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the retainer from the rear compartment lock cylinder.
  5. Remove the rear compartment lock cylinder and gasket from the rear compartment lid.
