Installation Procedure

  1. Align the rear compartment lid latch to the marks made on the rear compartment lid.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the rear compartment lid latch bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the rear compartment lid latch bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors to the rear compartment lid latch.
  4. Close the rear compartment.
