Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the seat back cardboard panel.
  2. Position the seat back cover to the pad.
  3. If heated seats, pull down the trim cover two thirds.
    • Pull the wire through the back foam pad.
    • Connect the seat heater wire connector.
  4. Pull the seat back cover down, over the pad.

  5. Use firm hand pressure to fasten the hook and loop retainers, securing the cover to the pad.
  6. Install the front seat head restraint retainer. Refer to HEAD RESTRAINT RETAINER REPLACEMENT - FRONT SEAT  .

  7. Install the J-hook retainers at the bottom of the seat back cover.
  8. Install the seat back cover end flaps.
  9. Install the manual lumbar handle and trim ring, if equipped.
  10. Install the front seat head restraint. Refer to HEAD RESTRAINT REPLACEMENT - FRONT SEAT  .
