Seat Adjustments - Front

Important: Do not overtorque the adjuster-to-floorpan bolts. Overtorqued nuts may cause a hard seat travel condition. Refer to FASTENER TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
The bolts that attach the seat adjusters to the floor pan allow a small amount of adjustment in the following directions:
- Fore and aft
- Side to side
The adjustment can be used for the following purposes:
- Alignment of the seat
- Alignment of the seat adjusters with each other
The adjustment can be used to help correct the following conditions:
- Hard or slow operation that is caused by misalignment of the adjusters
- Inability of the manually operated seat adjuster to lock
