Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the power seat adjuster. Refer to SEAT ADJUSTER REPLACEMENT - FRONT (TWO-WAY MANUAL)  or SEAT ADJUSTER REPLACEMENT - FRONT (SIX-WAY POWER)  .

    Important:  Initial removal of the nut securing the motor support bracket is suggested to gain access to the cable connector at motor for the inboard, passenger side or the outboard, driver side rear vertical gearnut.

  2. Remove the cables by squeezing the oblong connector at the motors and the vertical/horizontal actuators.
  3. Carefully flex the cable and remove it from the motor and horizontal/vertical actuator.
