Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR  .
  2. Remove the water deflector as needed. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  3. Use side cutters in order to cut the clip that connects the outside handle rod from the lock.
  4. Unscrew the remainder of the clip from the outside handle rod.
  5. Discard the clip.
