Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the front bumper fascia to the vehicle.
  2. Install the push-in retainers to the front bumper fascia to front bumper fascia upper support.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the bolts to the front bumper fascia.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the front bumper fascia fender bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the screws to the front bumper fascia to front fender liner.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the front bumper fascia to front fender liner screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the bolt to the front bumper fascia upper support.

    Tighten 

    Tighten front bumper fascia upper support bolt to 7 N.m (61 lb in).

  6. Install the push-in retainers to the front bumper fascia radiator air baffle.

  7. Install the fog lamps. Refer to FOG LAMP REPLACEMENT - FRONT in Lighting Systems, if equipped.
  8. Install the headlight. Refer to HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY OR HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT in Lighting Systems.
  9. Lower the vehicle. Refer to JACKING AND LIFTING in General Information.
  10. Remove the protective tape that may have been applied during the removal procedure.
