Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT - REAR BUMPER  .
  2. Remove the push-in retainers from the rear bumper energy absorber using J 38778.
  3. Remove the rear bumper energy absorber from the rear bumper impact bar.
