Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the fog lamp switch.
  2. Align the locating pins and the retainers on the I/P cluster trim plate with the openings in the I/P.
  3. Push in the I/P cluster trim plate at each of the retainer locations. Make sure the retainers are completely engaged.
  4. Return the steering wheel to the original position.
  5. Install the steering column filler. Refer to STEERING COLUMN FILLER REPLACEMENT  .
  6. Install the left I/P insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT  .
  7. Shift the transaxle shift lever from 1 to Park.
  8. Release the park brake.
