Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the electrical connection to the low tire reset switch, if equipped.
  2. Align the steering column filler locating pins and the retaining clips with slots in the instrument panel.
  3. Press down on the steering column filler in order to lock in the retainers.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the steering column filler bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the left IP insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT  .
