Installation Procedure

Position the front floor console to the vehicle.
Connect the electrical connectors.
Align the front floor console to the guide pins in the instrument panel
Push the front floor console forward into the IP until the console guide pins are fully seated.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the front floor console center bolts at the transaxle shift lever mounting bracket.
Tighten

Tighten the bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
Install the front floor console rear bolts in the rear storage compartment.
Tighten

Tighten the bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
Install the front bolts to the front floor console.
Tighten

Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

Install the transmission shift plate to the transmission shift control assembly. Make sure the transmission shift plate retainers are completely engaged.
Install the shift control knob. Install the horseshoe clip (1) to the shift control knob.

Install the front floor console trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE .
Install the rear storage compartment to the front floor console.
