Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the daytime running lamp ambient light sensor into the instrument panel (IP) upper trim panel opening. Rotate the sensor clockwise.
  2. Position the sun load temperature sensor into the trim panel opening. Rotate the sensor clockwise.

  3. Position the sunload temperature sensor into the trim panel opening. Rotate the sensor clockwise.

  4. Align the IP upper trim panel locating pins and retainers with the slots in the IP.
    IMPORTANT: On head up display (HUD) equipped vehicles, the 3 retainers to the rear of the HUD unit must be installed last and must be pushed down from the LH to the RH.
  5. Push down and forward on the IP upper trim panel in order to lock the IP upper trim panel into place.
