Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the fog lamp switch.
  2. Align the locating pins and the retainer clips on the IPC trim plate with the slots in the IP.
  3. Push in the IPC trim plate at each of the retainer clip locations in order to lock in the trim plate.
  4. Raise the steering column. Refer to STEERING COLUMN REPLACEMENT .
  5. Install the knee bolster bracket. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  6. Install the steering column filler. Refer to Steering Column Filler Replacement .
  7. Install the left IP insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - Left .
  8. Connect the battery ground negative cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE .
