Installation Procedure

  1. Install the IP trim pad to the vehicle.
  2. Reposition the IP wiring harness.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the IP upper trim pad bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  4. Install the IP cluster pocket bolt (1).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  5. Install the IP lower bolts (1).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the IP lower bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the IP compartment lamp switch. Refer to IP COMPARTMENT LAMP SWITCH REPLACEMENT .
  7. Install the IP compartment lamp. Refer to IP COMPARTMENT LAMP BULB REPLACEMENT .
  8. Install the IP compartment. Refer to COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - IP .
  9. Install the driver information center. Refer to Driver Information Center Module Replacement .
  10. Install the HUD module, if equipped. Refer to Head Up Display Module Replacement .

  11. Install the HUD dimmer switch, if equipped. Refer to Head Up Display Switch Replacement .
  12. Install the headlamp switch. Refer to HEADLAMP SWITCH REPLACEMENT .
  13. Install the IP cluster. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement .
  14. Install the HVAC control module. Refer to HVAC MODULE ASSEMBLY .
  15. Install the radio. Refer to RADIO REPLACEMENT .
  16. Install the IP cluster trim plate. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - IP Cluster .
  17. Install the steering column. Refer to STEERING COLUMN REPLACEMENT .
  18. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  19. Install the steering column filler. Refer to Steering Column Filler Replacement .
  20. Install the front floor console, if equipped. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT - Front Floor .
  21. Install the IP upper trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - Instrument Panel (IP) Upper .
  22. Install the side upper garnish moldings. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - WINDSHIELD PILLAR .
  23. Install the carpet retainers. Refer to CARPET RETAINER REPLACEMENT - FRONT .
  24. Install the IP insulators. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - Right  and CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - Left .
  25. Enable the SIR system. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM .
  26. Connect the battery ground negative cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE .
